Kallmet, which is an ancient Albanian native variety grown in the area of origin and spread mainly in the regions of Lezha and Shkodra. The average yield in Kallmeti vineyards intended for this wine does not exceed 50 quintals / ha. Harvesting is done 2-3 weeks later than the rest of the grapes allocated to two other wines, when grape is overripe and has just started to crease in the vine.
